It's disheartening to see how many students these days have totally zero school pride. They don't bother about their community, they don't participate in programs, and they just seem apathetic. It's like they've forgotten what it means to be part of a group and support their fellow students. This lack of passion is negative to the entire school culture.

Man, this cap just won't cooperate! It's giving me to adjust it, but it still feels awkward. Maybe my head is just not meant for this. I guess it goes to show you that sometimes things don't work out.

My School Is Different
When I hear the words "alma mater|my old school|the place where I learned}", it doesn't bring back feelings of website warmth and nostalgia. For me, it's a distant concept. Maybe because my time there were so different, or perhaps I simply haven't had the time to reflect. Whatever the reason, that phrase doesn't carry the same meaning for me as it does for others.
It's not that I dislike my time at school. It was a time of learning, just not one that feels familiar in the way many people describe.
Perhaps it's because I made my passions away from the traditional school setting. Or maybe it's because my memories are centered around different experiences. Whatever the case, "Not My Alma Mater|My School Is Different|This Isn't My Old School", and that's perfectly okay.

The society doesn't comprehend that I ooze a different hue. They stare with disgust as I display the reality of my being. My life force is a representation of {somethingelse that they can't grasp. They categorize me as abnormal, but I am simply different.
The Concept of School Spirit? Nah
Seriously, school/the whole idea of/that thing they call "school spirit/spirit week/pep rallies" is about as appealing/relevant/interesting to me as a moldy sandwich/root canal/trip to the dentist. I'd rather be practicing my guitar/reading a good book/taking a nap than wearing a ridiculous costume and screaming at some game I couldn't care less about. Give me brains over brawn any day!
- My teachers/My friends/Even my family all think I'm weird/missing out/crazy, but whatever. They can keep their traditions.

Just Here for the Snacks
Let's be real, sometimes gathering/ chilling/hanging out with people/ friends/squad is all about the spread/ feast/ bounty! I mean, who can resist a good platter/ selection/ assortment of tasty treats/ goodies/ munchies? It's like a buffet/ an oasis/ the promised land of deliciousness/ yumminess/ pure snacking heaven. Give me cookies any day! I totally prioritize/live for/am here for those snacks/ goodies/ bites that make a gathering/ hangout/ party truly unforgettable.
